About Toucan Day Nursery

Toucan Day Nursery is a community neighbourhood Nursery, our building having originally been an old public house, now converted to an Education and Day Nursery. We are very close to bus routes and a Bethnal Green Tube Station is only five to ten minutes away.

We were originally funded by the Big Lottery Fund, The Neighbourhood Nursey Initiative (NNI) as-well as Sure Start. Since then,we have been catering for children 0-5 years old and are always keen to help all families of different backgrounds.
We are fully committed to working positively with families of the local community by giving opportunities for both full and part time employments (voluntary or paid) – with training opportunities also available.

All parents/carers will have a safe, relaxed and comfortable day care for their children. There will also be a small room for parents to use.

Our classrooms are spacious, with full learning facilities available for the children. a separate and safe outdoor facility will be provided for parents/carers to store their buggies/prams.

Fully qualified staff are on duty at all times.
The Early Years curriculum goals are followed, including many multi-cultural activities.
